Got my first guinea egg of this year today, didn’t take a photo of it though.
I’ve noticed the guineas wandering in pairs and groups of three recently, maybe they’re gettin prepared for Breeding season.

Here’s a pearl gray pair.

One of my girls tried eating a anole earlier. It managed to get away from her while she was searching everywhere for it. I picked the little guy up and set it on a tree.

I put some of my eggs in a line-up yesterday. I got quite the variety now!

Flock Update:
Its been raining today so might be too wet for a free range this afternoon but I will see. If it is. I will treat the ladies instead.

I am getting so excited! If I keep saving the way I have been I will be starting my coop in September now! Times getting shorter and shorter!

I know! So excited for you! I have been in touch with Kate @ Beautiful Chickens [Mt Samson way] about getting 8 from her in a fortnight. She is going to set some aside for me!

Thank you! I really wanted a colorful egg basket when I restarted my standard flock and I definitely achieved that!

OMG Yayyy! I am going to look at getting mine from her in the future.
I have asked Jordan to suss out tools he might need for the coop build and we get them when they have specials.
