:yuckyuck:gig So sorry I just assumed  I usually (even though I'm anti package) will use the Louisiana brand fish fry. Don't have any at the moment and got three dramatically different recipes to replace it. They all look good, just trying to decide which way to go.

Oh, it’s quite alright... I am not ashamed to say that I HATE to cook! Even though I do.. I use the crockpot often ... I’m sure which ever you choose it will be delicious! As I’m guessing that you are probably a great cook!!

Been preparing full meals since I was 7. ;) I love to cook an experiment. I had a blast learning in LA. Crazy story though, I failed miserably with a roux and actually learned how to do it in Korea. My boss in Korea was a cajun and an incredible cook.

Oh that’s funny! But at least he was Cajun... I CANNOT make a roux to save my life! Burn, burn, burn

Well, the middles had chosen to sleep on an outside roost.. but it’s inside my run which is completely covered and secure... so they would be fine there but I’d rather them all sleep inside the coop.. so I picked them up and placed them onto the top roost. They seems very pleased about this and scooted in as close as Rosemary would allow.. :celebrate

That's awesome!!!

Ok i have a question for @Brahmachicken240 Myles did your brahma roo have crooked wing feathers when a chick? My one chicks wing feathers ae not flat across but each feather is turned 90 degrees so the sides are pointing up. It's the chick i thought is a rooster and since you have amazing birds and experience with them thought I'd ask ya. I'm going to try and take pics tomorrow

Morning guys! It's nearing 5:00 AM and I've been up since just past 3... I'm not even sure why I didn't go back to sleep. At least the girls are getting out extra early today! The broody numbers are slowly rising. Three bantams and one standard pullet are trying to make babies, the eggs are infertile so it's really just a pain in my butt! :he I should be able to get some pictures of the flock later.

On a side note; did Krystal say why she's been off since late last month? Did I miss a post?
