The sow's in heat and the boar has been nudging her around, Haven't actually seen him on top of her yet. Fingers crossed though, Really want some baby pigies this spring
luved that pic, Made my mouth water just looking at it. I personally prefer duck over chicken.. I say the game-y-er the better![]()
Okay, here's some pictures of Grace. She's such a doll, and a joy (though sometimes a pain) to own.

She's the sweetest little thing! She is soooo cute! Does she bite? Or is she just the sweetest little thing?
My chickens love treats, also, but, much like yours, are absolute suckers for meat! They're obsessed with itTreat Update:
Chickies got Pulled Pork and Beef. They went crazyyy!
They get sooo excited when they get a treat.

getting a low of -4(c) tonight.. Wish I had your weather right nowWinter's just begun for us
I just placed an order this morning for some chickies, February the 13th i'll be getting 40 cinnamon queen pullets, 20 white leghorns, and 10 broad breasted white turkeys i plan to pasture raise for eating. Will be my first time raising BBs for eating so i'm pretty excited about that~
More exciting news thats a bit off topic is that i've paired up my sow and boar in hopes that they'll do their thing so I can have some piglets this coming April![]()
She's the sweetest little thing! She doesn't bite. My mom's ferret used to like to bite feet under the bedcovers, and she'd bite my poor ferret hard enough to make her yelp, and she'd bite my wrist if I aroused her, and she'd bite it so hard, like she was trying to get to my bone.
So finally I broke her of the habit. I trained her to stop biting by scruffing her every time she'd bite, and it worked! She and Grace now live together, and are great friends, and will play and have fun instead of hurting one another. Also, I trained Missy, the other ferret so well, that now she won't bite back when they're playing.
