Hi! Feel like I’m a little late to the party but I saw this feed so I decided to join Anyways, my name is Shelby and I am currently living in North Carolina and I had a previous flock in Georgia for 4 years until I had to give them up because we had new people move into the neighborhood where everyone had chickens and they didn’t like it. Anyways I moved to NC in August of 2018 and I ended up getting my rooster back and 3 5 month old chicks. One is a cockerel and the other 2 are pullets. I do not live in a neighborhood anymore so no one complains about the noise! We just bought 12 chicks which consists of Black Copper Marans, Olive Eggers, and Olandsk Dwarfs, which are the cutest chicks I have ever seen! I have a silkie roo right now and 2 of his offspring that are mixed with lavender amaracauna. My other is a silkie/partridge Cochin. I do not have good pics of the babies yet but I will get some soon Also we are working on the new chicken shed up here as well, but have the majority of it completed. I breed partridge,blue buff columbian and lemon Pyle brahmas
I also breed Rouen and pekin ducks and I’m hoping to breed my guinea fowl this year.
