Yes they’re called call ducks.Well... Chickie Mama... you are a bad influence... I have decided to get a pair of ducks!! I would like to find call ducks or some type of bantam.. if that’s what they’re called? And hopefully two females.. if there is a way of knowing while babies? Soooo, we’ll see what I can find
... hoping to find babies at the same time I get my new chicks so I can just keep them together...
That’s awesome that you want to get into ducks. Yes; I can be a bad influence
Lol I head to take the lampshade thing/head off of my lamp, the post is about 5 feet tall but I had to take the top off because DS always knocks it over and I didn't want the light bulb to smash.
I am doing good, a bit stressed about the upcoming trip next week to the states but half excited about it. Thank you for asking, sweetheart. How are you doing?
Yay! Glad you are ok
Thanks Krystal, I enjoyed reading yours too!
Awesome, business is booming!
Yeah! Except for the wounded hand part lol I have this scar on my left hand, a bit bigger than yours and permanent- I have pics but they are too gruesome to post, I got it because I was stuck in the bathroom...because one of those rack things that you can attach to the doors made the door stuck. So without thinking I pushed on the door because I couldn't think of another way to get out...well that caused the mirror that was attached to the door to break and fall on my hand..guillotine style. I didn't have health insurance at the time to get stitches, a neighbor wrapped my hand it healed over time, leaving the scar that is about an inch long. That was 2 weeks after I moved to Canada, September 23, 2015...the 23rd of the month seems to not be the greatest, I just realized (23rd was the day Cookie died too). Well that better not mean I'll have a bad day tomorrow...we are seeing a house at 1.
Good luck!
Those frogs are beautiful, I love frogs- I've always wanted one but have had 2 firebelly toads that look like frogs with warts. One was green and one was brown.
Beauty <3
Welcome, Sandra! How exciting!
Me too, ordered a lot of mailed chicks but once I had to rehome mine I called the airport with zipcodes of people that were interested just to see if they would ship to them...I ended up finding homes for them locally.
No promises on what I will come back with. If anything. LolIf you have these beauties you will also have the snakes that like to snack on them. When I was a kid [a civilized Sydney kid] I used to holiday in sunny Qld & the shower was outside ~ a cement slab under the water tank. Loads of green frogs ~ and pythons!

I had started my first flock of 24 birds (including one roo) in 2017. Then my life changed and I left the state, I thought forever but God had different plans. I came back to the little homestead here in SC and to my family: one precious man that I married immediately upon my return, 6 dogs, 2 cats, and the original 24 birds minus a couple that died of unknown illnesses. So 2018 was a sad, lonely year that ended on a happy note! And the "girls" are so gorgeous! Big, fat, sleek looking hens. So happy to be back.
