Yep! More chicks from my cockerel, Blue. Already hatched 5 and they’re gorgeous.

Yay for babies! I can’t wait for you to get them. I’ll have to be thinking of names, won’t I? Then I’ll be “Aunt Chickie Mama”

Just went check on them this morning at 6 am cause I stressed over chill or winds or predators all night only to go out their and find I hadn't missed a thing apparently, and was looked at like a weirdo for being up to check on them so early when 90 % of them were still asleep...then my adult flock got mad cause I refused to let them out of their coop and run before daylight hit. -_- oh well. Now I can be reassured that all babies are good to go and stay outside 24/7 at 3 weeks old even in late winter, for my last 40min of sleep before my day starts....

Awww that's good.
I hate when the flock thinks they are being let out but it isnt even the time for them to be out. I always say sorry babies not yet.

@bantamsrmyfav yum! Mashed potatoes are great Have you tried making filet steak(if you eat meat that is)? I found you can by a piece worth 10 filets (not counting shank and stew bits) at a wholesale store and theyre suuuper easy to make in around 10 minutes total between the stove top and oven, and need only salt and pepper to make it taste amazing!!!

Awww that sounds really yummy!!!!! Im not sure what im cooking tonight. I got chicken breast out of the freezer.
