Egg Update:
I think I just collected Almonds first egg. And my first poopy egg might I add. I didnt get a photo but. Smaller egg. Pointer at the top. And between Hazel and Cocos egg in colour. But ill only know for sure once I get all 3 in a day.

Yay! Well done, Almond! I got 3 today. I think Namaste is moulting so no eggs from her for a while.

I'm not real sure but she's been off for a while ~ not sick, just not herself & there's a lot of black feathers around though she doesn't look too bad as of now.

Today seemed like a successful day. 70th Birthday BBQ at our house. Food was great, loads of laughs, dart games (well Jordan winning the whole time), Jordan was teaching his cousin how to drive on our acreage.
It was very very hot today but 36°c so im nice and showered in aircon now having a coffee

I'm not real sure but she's been off for a while ~ not sick, just not herself & there's a lot of black feathers around though she doesn't look too bad as of now.

I didn't know they seem sick or not themselves when they molt.

Making new feathers is hard work & uses protein, just like making an egg does. They're not sick but can be susceptible to viruses & feel miserable, off their tucker & the new feathers are sensitive ~ & they don't lay! I'm hoping it's a *soft* molt & she will recover faster, otherwise it could be weeks & weeks... & weeks...
