Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Flock Update:
My ladies seen a bit unhappy this morning the coop is so wet and has a bit of a smell starting. I will hopefully be home earlier today before it storms again to clean them out and let them free range. We are on our way to our nieces Birthday party so couldn't really stay home today.
Also, I have to get grocery shopping in also.

Here’s to you... AussieChick

This is so true! Omg I love it! I swear I can understand them. Jordan just looks at me like really?
I sure can too!!
People who say chickens are dumb.. obviously haven’t spent time with them..
When I let my gals out to free range I have to carry each one of them from the coop to the yard with the puppy fence... well, when one of them has to lay an egg they go to the fence toward the coop then they come to me clucking.. then back to the fence.. and so on... then they wait for me to get them and carry them to coop.. I know each and every time one has to lay an egg!

Most of my coop seems to be dry but there is a wet line where the nesting box lid lifts up & Hepzibah is hogging the favourite nesting box. Just hope she isn't going broody on me again! :( She's my best layer but she will insist on going broody.
