Almond is 100% laying now! Got my 3rd egg in one day! Im so excited! One of the best days of my life!

Flock Update: we got veggie treats today! We of course were terrified of them at first.... I gently cleaned and then steamed the veggies until they still had a bit of crunch but were also tender. We've started a planter box garden for the chickens so i know they are fresh and clean!

We took turns holding each one today...

General Tao is filling out, this is the one that went on an adventure in the wall... it's my second fav and shows the other chicks I'm ok... she'll jump into my hand!

This is Sesame and we're sporting our first tail feathers today! Aren't they cute? Not sure if her and her sisters are barred rocks or marans... their white markings are pretty though and all the chicks are starting to get tiny tail feathers in it's adorable!

Great Update love! You are really making me want Chicks!
I cant wait to have more chickens!

Flock Update:
My girls got to free range this afternoon for awhile whilst I was sitting with them. Got some fresh food in their feeder. The magpies were coming down looking for food so Hazel and Coco bashed them up! Like 5 times for getting too close to me lol. Crazy chickens!

I can't believe Almond finally laid!

Also, another $30 in the coop savings I didn't need much petrol so didn't use all my petrol money for the week. Equals Coop Money
