Flock/Life Journey's 2019

Some pics for you...my rooster winter and his mate summer lol a pic of the first group taken a couple weeks ago (they r bigger now for sure) plus a pic of our work in progress chicken coop....everything was reclaimed from our fence before we moved to pallets and wooden slats from an old bed lol spent 10 on plywood to do roof and doors lol we will get there for sure but I love cheap...even free hahaha also included a pic of the newest members a day after we had them...my daughter insisted on video chatting with me while I was at work so I could see them...gotta love her! My profile pic is of her chicken lilah she is a trouble maker for sure....she’s very bossy and seems to control the flock ;)View attachment 1736103View attachment 1736104View attachment 1736105View attachment 1736106View attachment 1736107

Just seen this post. They look so cute!

Flock Update:

The lady just left with Ketchup, Sweet, Sour, and Relish. With two happy kiddos ready to play with them. :D She was really excited to see just how pretty they all were and that Ketchup was already stepping into the protector role. so yay! I'm not rehoming anymore.

The big girls are going through feed and water a lot faster so I got them their new bigger feeder and waterer. washed the smaller ones and then put them in with the babies so they now have the long feeder and two waterers. Everyone seems happy and healthy. :celebrate:wee So so far so good. I try and pick the littles up every day, or i'll sit beside them and just talk with them. We're working on the coop some today. Got the metal guard up at the base where the wood is torn away. I think I have the ventilation figured out and that is a lot better now. Hopefully will be able to work on the closed in Run Area soon! :bun:yesss:
