Bantam Cochins are my favourite breed, followed by silkies. Then there are those sizzles. It seems most rational for me to go with Wyandotte bantams if I had to pick one breed to work on because they are cold hardy but I can see myself caving in and getting more Cochins and silkies one day.Technically, it's not a APA variety, but I rather like it. The people who first sold us that color called them black-bibbed calls.
Thanks about the cochins.I've been working on the quality, but it's really hard to find anyone with good cochins. Unfortunately the hens are probably hatchery birds, but they're the mother of the rooster in with them, so that just goes to show that you can use "okay" quality to get something better.

If you can find a nice used Genesis 1588 you would have a good one.ok. I was also wondering if yall had any that where great success for you guys that yall could link me to.
