I have preggers brain AND bird brain and I'm not pregnant nor do I have any birds.

I planted 100 sunflower seeds a few weeks back and 85 have started to grow.
Going to plant them all at the side of the house.

Lovely plants, makes me want to garden. But we just moved so are just settling in and preparing for 2 families visiting.

I've scattered a bunch of sunflower seeds by the coop to see what will grow. Maybe next time I'll try to start them first.

When they take that long to start laying, the egg is often full sized too!

Thanks! I can legally have 5 hens. I'll probably see how this winter goes as it will be our first winter in the area and then apply to get the permit for them next year. I'm going to start with guppy fish and then button quail in the house and then I'm planning on getting 3 bantam and 2 standard hens. I have fish brain too
