Yay for that firs egg

Got back from my first training shift this morning...everything turned out better than expected.

I plugged in the incubator that I last used 15 years ago and st first the temps were 75 F, I turned the dial to increase the temp and it shot up to 120 F, turned it down and it went back to 75. My ceiling fan light turned on by itself so I was afraid to go to the basement to check on the incubator in over 24 hours, I will check it later. There is a hole about 2 inches wide on my styrofoam hovabator that I put a cloth over. I don’t know if that affects the temps much.
