Morning everyone!
Luna looks to be getting worse
Her toes are starting to go black from the bumble foot and she has an impacted crop again, I think it might be best to put her down.

We now have 25 new Brahma chicks, 4 guinea keets and 8 ducklings

Here’s some photos of Some of the chicks from the first two batches. There’s six pullets that I will Be keeping and 8 cockerels left now.

Sorry about Luna

Others are looking good

I had 3 offers to take my broken incubator and I wanted to give it to a teacher who wants to use it for her classroom but it’s been 21 hours and no reply on when she will pick it up.

The eggs someone replied saying they can hatch them for me for free so I’m hoping to them Friday.

The inevitable has happened, a tropical storm is heading towards Florida. At this point, it is supposed to be a category two hurricane when it reaches me. The number of pets we have is always a challenge, five dogs(plus both of my grandparent's dogs), two cats(and my grandma's cat), an aquarium with two fish, three reptiles that need a few different light/heating and of course the chickens and ducks. At the moment it's most likely to hit right around where I live late Sunday or early Monday.

Now to some lighter news, my standard girls, who I hatched myself, are turning a year next month! It's so rewarding to see my happy and healthy flock.

As I was adding pictures the hurricane will now be a cat three when it hits Florida.
