I'll start with Candy and Georgia (Candy's the dark EE and Georgia is the white chick).
Day I got them (Georgia had very well developing wing feathers, albeit she was a tad smaller than Candy, so I'm estimating their birthday to be on Sunday, two days before):

ETA: Like I said, they could have been around a week-old when I got them, for all I know...because I really don't. Perhaps more like 5 or 6 days-old, or even 3 or 4.

Adorable babies! Is the brown one a Welsummer?

SOO happy and excited. I have today and tomorrow off as usual, and I requested this whole weekend off and so it's almost like a vacation for me! :celebrate Five days off in a row! :yesss:
I got a lot cleaned today. I cleaned my fish tanks (as I do every Wednesday), and I cleaned my mice cage and the gerbil tank and moved him back to the twenty-gallon since I moved four of the chicks to our big shed with a heating mat (they're in a parrot cage, though), and Slater with the big outside chicks (Georgia, Candy, and Ryan). So happy to have no more chicks inside. I swept my room (still need to mop it, though, and do laundry, wash my rug, thoroughly clean the ferrets cage, etc.). But my room is looking less cluttered finally and actually looks really nice again...I still need to get more things done, but I have certainly started working on that.

Let me see, so far you have mentioned....
Chicks
Mice
Gerbils
Fish
Ferret

Did I miss any and are you running a small animal zoo?

What a nice record of them growing. I am going to need to do that. They are very pretty.

I do really want a Wellie, but no, Candy is just another Easter Egger. So far I have three of them right now (a hen, pullet, and a young straight run bantam).

Haha! Well, those are the types of animals I own, otherwise in this house there's also three inside cats, three dogs, and two cockatiels.

Thanks! I need to remember to get pictures of them each new-week-old mark(er), though. :p You should do one! I love seeing pictures of chicks aging and growing, and would love to follow along with yours were you to do one. :D This is my first time trying this, too.

If you wanna call it that, sure. :lau

Thanks for the link! I checked it out a bit earlier, and it sounds like an interesting thread to follow. :D
I should also do this when I start hatching chicks, ducklings, and guineas :jumpy - tracking their progress by posting it on BYC!
Thanks for giving me this is a great idea! :thumbsup
I can't wait to get started!
:wee
That sounds fun! I can't wait to read yours!
Lol, you're welcome, though I wasn't the one who actually thought of this. ;)

Busy today tomorrow. We shall go to a wild horse and burro adoption event in a town about 2 and a half hours away!, just to look at the horses (can't bring one home yet because I don't have enough money saved up yet). My plans are to leave super early in the morning, so I have my alarm set for 5 something. We first wanna stop at a donut place and get some donuts, then my dad can drop us off at Wal-Mart so I can get money off my card while he gases the car up for the 'trip', then we head out to that far away town. I wanna get some pictures of some of the horses and share them if you want to see them, and we might spend a bit of time there, then we get food, then head to home and gas up one more time before getting there. Those are the plans. :D

Let's see those horses. Why not!
