Hi I'm new here. We have 11 Tetra Tints, 5 Araucanas, 5 Barred Rocks, and 5 Rhode Island Reds. We are working on a coop and run. The coop is a shed with concrete floor. My question is, should we leave the floor uncovered so it's easy to hose out and clean or is some type of bedding preferred? Obviously I'll put something in the nesting boxes and the run will be grass/dirt. What are your thoughts/advice? How often should the floor be cleaned? Thanks in advance.

Hey there also new here but been reading threads for about a month, researching for my new flock. We have a coop with wood flooring and I am considering doing what is called Deep Litter approach to my coop situation. You should do a search and see what you think. ;) good luck
