* UPDATE *
I gave her a bath and rinsed her eye under the running faucet. Upon further inspection, she seems to have a lump or bump in front of her affected eye that seems to possibly irritating her affected eye. Could a spider bite or mosquito bite have caused this too? We have black widows in our yard and my hen loves to forage and search for bugs under branches and bushes.
I posted updated photos of her bad eye and also her good eye (last closeup photo) for comparison.
My 21 week old Easter Egger hen has white foam coming from her right eye. She seems otherwise fine. I think it may be Mycoplasma Gallisepticum or maybe Infectious Bronchitis (from a quick google search).
She keeps scratching at it with her foot & I’m worried it could get worse.
I have separated her from the rest of the flock and will quarantine her.
I have never dealt with this before.
What can be done to help her?
Is that what this looks like?
How could she have caught this?
How can I help her eye?
