are the bus tickets all digital too, or is there a human somewhere selling paper tickets old school style?

This was me taking the airport shuttle bus to my hometown. You can see the face scanning machine on the right. I was scanned as i check in. I have to submit to full digital totalitarian in China. :-(
The bus ride was 70 minutes.

My blood almost boiled. That is so wrong. Can you just run through the thing?
I would have snuck some chicken poo to drop on the floor.

I had a paper receipt acting as my ticket. There was a human at booth. I even used cash.

I am carrying a Chinese passport so I have what's called a citizen card. The cashier scanned my card as she sold the ticket. I then scan my citizen card only as I check in.
