Here we are, as promised! The eggs have been in the incubator for 10 days now and I just finished candling them for the first time. 3/9 seem to be not fertile. 4 eggs are showing veins and one of the little guys was moving all around for us. (All pictures attached are of developing eggs:)) The remaining 2 eggs are not showing progress. I plan on keeping all of them all in the incubator at least until the next candling.

I’m thinking of candling tonight or tomorrow. I kept all of the eggs in the bator, even ones I didn’t see progressing. The past few days several of the eggs are starting to look like this. I’m assuming rotten? So nervous to toss any since last time I tossed some they were still alive:( Opinions?

Ended up candling tonight because I couldn’t handle the suspense:barnie 3 of the little (hopefully) ladies were developing and moving all around for me. Though I wish all 9 were developing, I’m excited and very hopeful for my 3:thumbsup

It’s hard not to candle and see where the little babies are in their development. I am such a junky for Candling it is sad, but exciting at the same time.

Congrats on the development on your little egglets!

Isn’t that the truth!! There’s absolutely nothing cooler than seeing the little embryos moving around. I see people who candle every day up until lockdown so I suppose 2 times half way through the process isn’t too bad...though my patience is running thin

I am a person who candles everyday until I see an internal pip. I am so bad. But it is so cool to see an empty egg fill with life.
