My granddaughter had supper with us tonight, so I made her favorite meal. Chicken & rice with buttered carrots and cornbread.

Good thing about this recipe? Most people have all the ingredients already in their pantry. As you can tell, I go cheap except for my salt & butter. Gotta love that Kerrygold!

The worst thing about this recipe? It looks like a big pile of once you get it all mixed up.

Best thing? It's so YUM! I ate this when I was a kid. I'm hoping my granddaughter will make it for her grandkids.

Yes'm, very moist and not overly sweet. Super good with coffee in the AM
