Aw thanks! And I thought this thread was helping me put Weight on!
Joking aside, food is getting expensive here. It's all 'health taxes'. We pay extra for sugary drinks now there is a minimum price on alcohol. And don't get me started on fuel prices! Anyway I'm enjoying a Ben and Jerry's cookie dough ice cream. It was on offer!

Hold on to that WW II cook book. You may do good by selling Photocopies of the recipes to your neighbors soon.
I know food in Europe is HIGH.
It is even higher in Oriental Areas. Korea leading the pack.
HEALTH TAXES,,,,,, Lets not even go there.
I gain weight just by viewing, and sometimes to less degree, just by thinking of GOOD FOOD..... So far no way to tax that.

Not sure if Showbiz Pizza was nationwide, but it was going STRONG in our area. We used to go there with our (small children) often. Only thing I noticed different about their pizza, and maybe just my observation. Their tomato sauce was slightly sweetened. (I know what tomato sauce natural tastes like)

And the other was Chuck E Cheese. At one time both were operating same time-period. Pizza tasted same to me at both places.

I haven't thought of Chucky Cheese for a long time, that was always my boy's 1st pick for pizza (not that they were all that interested in the pizza when we went ). Thanks for the memories @cavemanrich

When Little Cesar's came to our area, they purchased this one location where Showbiz and later acquired as Chuck E Cheese closed. We would often go there and called it (just among ourselves) Big Cesar's . That was a time when you would always get 2 pizzas per order. It was the only sit down location in area to my knowledge. All the Little Cesar's now are take out only. (in my location)
BTW,,,,, Chuck E Cheese is operating quite well in my area. They have the games children can play.
I think its about time I take the grandchildren there now.

They always did have it available. (beer and wine). I never ordered any since I just drank the soda my Small Fry were . We got it by the Pitcher.
