Do you see any bumblefoot scab or spot on the footpad? Bumblefoot also can appear between the toes. I would start by soaking the foot in a warm bath of Epsom salts for 20 minutes daily. A dish pan or a small garbage can works. Here are some articles to read about bumblefoot treatment:

Thank you!!

I disagree with the 'chicken chick' = Kathy Shea Mormino protocol for bumblefoot linked above, because there is too much emphasis on surgery, which should be reserved for only the most acute infections, for example if the bird stops eating. Surgical extraction is both time consuming and stressful for the owner, and painful and longer to recuperate from for the chicken. In some cases, and this one seems like such a case, the infection hasn't (in common parlance) 'gathered' yet, there's probably not much of a 'bumble' there, just a lot of blood will come out if an incision *shudder* is made. A 'drawing salve' is the best thing to use on bumblefoot, it will make the pus accumulate and 'coagulate' in a nice (better said nasty) plug. Then you just draw it out, like a cork from a bottle. Youtube volunteered this for me, it's a demonstration of a drawing salve called PRID. There are other ones too.
