Foot injury and has stopped eating

We had more chickens than we wanted, couldn’t find anyone to take them and there were too many for me to keep track of. Her ski definitely looked dehydrated. She died the day we finally found a home for the others. I guess I shouldn’t be surprised something like this happened.

Im thinking she got stepped on by a bigger chicken but do you think it’s possible she broke her foot climbing this ladder? I just threw it together with leftover wood but maybe it’s not safe? Maybe the steps are too close together.. The chickens don’t like using it.

That looks too steep and verticle. I would try making a few boxes of 3 different heights to jump up on, or making the ladder less steep.
