Where the heck do you live that you can get a house for $35K?! Here half a million isn't uncommon.

I plan to buy a young filly and I'd like to spend no more than $20K. I have seen some gorgeous fillies with great bloodlines for 18. I am picky when it comes to Gypsies.
I am a conformation snob and know what I like. I like the traditional black and white, lots of feathering, apple butt, short back, etc. I prefer a black head with a white blaze or star and a black and white mane and tail or solid white.
Latcho Drom is my all time FAVORITE stallion! But you also cannot beat The Gypsy King! I would take a filly out of either of them in a heartbeat.

The gal we got our horse from has a 35 year old quarter horse! It is the ultimate "old grey mare" - except it's a gelding!!

Ponies live even longer. They can get into their forties.

I've had hands-on with Road Sweeper from that sight...he's MUCH better in person...and one of the nicest stallions I've ever met!

Looks like Black Forest Shires is going out of business. You might want to attend their auction on the 22nd and 23rd. Here's the link to RSVP on their site: http://gypsyhorses.com/sale/rsvp.htm.

They have one of Lion King's sons up for auction! And wowzer, I think I've fallen for Edward their 2005 gelding.

Oh, I know!!! I'd love to go to the auction just to see what those Lion King babies go for. Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket between now and then! I know! My birthday is coming up maybe my husband will buy me one of those horses! LOL! Yeah, right!

I'm not a fan of Vanners. I look at all that hair...

I have three Minis right now and they're great. If I were ever to get into riding again I might go for something like a Haflinger or Fjord.
