good morning texas

what humidity level are you trying to maintain?

there seems to be two different camps on this issue
and i'm not sure if one or the other is correct
or perhaps it doesn't matter all that much until
you get to the lockdown stage

I'm trying to keep my humidity between 30-40% during the first 18 days and then will use a separate bator for lockdown with 60 - 70% humidity. I've done LOTS of reading on this website but realize that you never know until you try it in your particular room in your house in your part of the country. Trial and error, as they say!!

I believe you're right about lockdown humidity being the most important so the little chicks won't "shrink wrap." Doesn't that sound horrible? Hope that doesn't happen to us.

We'll help each other through it, OK?
