Hey all!
I have 7 eggs in a Brinsea Mini II Advance. Put them in lockdown on Monday the 30th. I realized THIS MORNING (hatch day) that I am an idiot and forgot to remove the egg turning disc at lockdown.
I did shut the auto turner off, so they are not being turned. But the disc is still in there.
So far this morning there are three good-sized pips.
Should I remove the disc now? Will it cause issues while the chicks try to hatch? Or should I leave it, this late in the game, to avoid opening the incubator and messing with the eggs to get the disc out?
Please tell me I'm not the only one who's ever made this mistake...
Thanks in advance for any and all advice!
