Update on "Sweetie" -- she's officially going into rescue... and we're fostering her!

The owner of the rescue group came out yesterday to treat her for flea/ticks, give her a wormer pill, etc. She'll be setting up her spay appointment soon. She did agree with me that this girl looks like she has some Great Dane in her and she guesstimated her age at around 4 months.

OMG What a cutie! I would have a hard time not keeping her, but I hear ya, i have 3 rescues already..One more BIG OL mouth to feed would break us. You did the right thing, KUDOS!

Holy Cow if I was still at Fort Bragg in Fayetteville I would be driving to your house yesterday! She is absolutely gorgeous. thank you so very much for saving her and for not contacting her owners...she deserves so much better.

They may not be willing to take her without her being pure, but they;ll probably help. You picked up a stray with no tags. Anything neighbor said to you is simply heresay and can be discounted as such.

They should take her. We were Great Dane foster parents for about 1 year. They had a lot of mix Danes. We love Danes.​

"Sweetie" puppy is being adopted!

She was spayed today and has been recovering on my futon all evening. Such a pretty girl....

I'm really going to miss her.
