Original post: My husband found a baby kitten inside his car this morning on his way to work. Not even sure how old it is... We have a lot of stray cats so there's a chance it's feral but it's very nice but scared. I offered it milk, canned chicken, and water with no luck and not even showing interest.
What should or could I do to help until I can find it a good home? I can't get to the store until my kids are done with classwork (another hour or so), any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Update: My sister ended up taking the kitten for my nephew and they named her "Blue". She's been doing really well :)

Aw, what a cutie! Have you bottle-fed it? This little one probably still is too young to be weaned yet.

Look around for the kittens mom. She may be nearby.
I think I saw a pregnant cat weeks ago. I was convinced she was going to lay in my front yard. Haven't seen her around today. Left my garage a little cracked just in case momma cat hears the kitten calling. Not sure if I'm doing this right lol.

Looks very young. You could either try a kitten formula syringe/bottle feed or ground mashed wet cat food diluted in water and syringe feed. Just be carful not to get milk/food into the lungs. Let kitten be in standing position while feeding not on the back.

I'll definitely look for that. Thank you!
