found baby bird.. help

Well I've heard of some cases where people have broken a baby birds beak, though I've never had to open a birds beak so I can't help you with that. Did he eat any food earlier?

he wouldnt. he kept shying away and i just checked on him and he passed. :...( Im so sad. I thought he was going to pull through but I kknew his chances were slim. It's better than being stung to death and eaten alive by the ants. poor little guy.

Aww, so sorry to hear that. In my experience, wild baby birds are extremely difficult to raise. Especially ones so young. I think they suffer stress just like chickens and it just kills them. Every one I ever tried to save, died within a day or two. Even the ones that ate.
