With my luck they are all boys. Boy chickens seem to like me a lot more than boy humans ever did.

hmm I have a SLW and everyone keeps thinking roo.. but seriously.. mine doesnt have near the wattles at 4 weeks that yours did.. so maybe I have some hope.. LOL It stinks, I think 2 of my 5 are roos and It makes me sad, i cant have them either.

I have 3 GLWs...... one of them had a bigger comb and wattles and was redder than the others around 5 weeks old.... they are all girls though, but the first 8-10 weeks she was a bit 'different'. Not sure if you have more than the one girl, I hope for you that the third one is a girl!!

I am curious at this. Other than seeing a hen lay an egg or hear a roo crow, at what age should you be able to tell them apart? Are there really any traits that make it possible to determine? I have four silver wyandottes and I have two pair of something! Two have different feather styles and two have more reddish appearance to their comb area. Just anxious I suppose to figure out what we have been raising for the last five weeks!
