Fowl pox? Conflicting Opinions

I vote for it being favus, a fungus of the comb and wattles. Paint Blu-kote on his comb for a few weeks until it's gone.

I would use Blu-kote on all of those lesions. It's an antifungal and antibacterial agent.

To me it looks like healing peck wounds. The white tips could be some very mild frostbite. Fowl pox seldom would occur in winter or early spring in the north.

OK - Blue-Kote it is! Is it a one time application, or daily? The only time I ever used it my hen's comb was purple for a couple weeks.

The Barred Rock, it this the same hen that you had a thread about at the first of this month that had been pecked and a bleeding comb or a different hen?
