Awesome! I will do that when I get homeWouldn't hurt, honestly. She may well appreciate that. Make sure to dry the wounds thoroughly after, though.

Wondering if this would help with the wounds on this duckYes, from Absorbine. Works amazing!
Thank you!! I will order some now for sure!.Wondering if this would help with the wounds on this duck
I ordered it to have on hand but haven’t used it yet
Here is a pic of the stuff in case the OP would like to pick one up
It's always good to have on hand in case of emergencies, that's for sure.Thank you!! I will order some now for sure!.
She's not exactly eating and drinking on her own. When I hold water and mashed food pellets in front of her she will have some but won't take any when she is in her crate. Still very withdrawn but a little more alert!! wounds are looking good too!I just ordered some too.
How is she doing today?
I have managed to get some syringes of wet pellets mixed with a little bit of honey into her, I have just put it in her mouth and she has been happily swallowing. I've been doing this every hour (just a bit at a time). I think the harder foods might just be too much as her neck is sore.I would think by now she’d be over the shock. She’s probably very sore though. If she doesn’t start to eat in the next day you might want to think about tube feeding we have info on here in how to do it.
