Fox Attack - Wound Care - Graphic Pictures - Happy Ending

Imagine what you could do in sneaks! 😱

That wound looks so awful in those first pictures. That's an amazing recovery! Thank you for sharing this information.
Thanks & you're welcome.
Poor baby! So glad you got to her in time. I know she was terrified! Great job. Wound looks very clean hopefully it will finish healing right up. She's a cutie! :love
Thanks. I think keeping it wrapped and keeping her in the hospital cage is what helped it heal so quickly.

What I want to know is how did you keep her still while you tended her wounds? I recently had a hen scalped by a hawk and I had a devil of a time irrigating wounds and trying to keep bandages on her. She struggled horribly. For next time something happens, share your secret please.

Great question, and thanks for asking. Keeping her still was difficult, but I think that doing the cleaning in the bathroom helped. When flushing the wounds, I kept a firm grip on her legs in my left hand while I flushed the wounds with my right. When It came time to bandage the first time, I had help.

Thank you so much for answering. So glad your baby is better.
