Fox got in. Rooster saved other chickens but had his butt feathers ripped OFF

Normal day. chickens were out i decided to go out for something came back one dead 3 missing. found 2 of 3 missing. Rooster protected and saved most of them but his beautiful handsome tail feathers were ripped off. Just wondering what can i do. Should i wrap it up? Cant tell if it’s raw or bleeding.

What a brave boy! Hard to tell if he's injured beyond losing his tail feathers. If not, leave him be. Keep an eye on the flock to be sure no one bullies him. Good luck.

If there's no damage to the skin in any way and he's just exposed, I don't think it'll be necessary, but, if there is damage to his skin, or the flock is pecking at it, wrap it

I would catch him and part his feathers for a better look at the skin. You'll want to find out if there's any wounds there or if it's simply a matter of feathers being plucked out.
