FREE - 1 dozen BBS Orp eggs - Central Va. - Winners!!

I would really like some of your eggs, but as I sit here thinking of reasons why I deserve them. The same thing keeps popping into my head and that is the fact that there is always someone who deserves or needs them more than I. I know that this will be a great gift for some one. Thanks for reminding me that what I would like to have isn't always what I need to have.

Well, i don't know that I deserve them any more than any one else, but i would love to have some of these eggs to hatch out. I know they are beautiful birds and I would like to get my own flock of them going.

I love BBS Orps! I really really want to get some. Sandhill was sold out until next year

I love my BO but I really want to add some Blues, Blacks, and Splashes to my farm. I am currently jobless except for my art sales and can not afford the prices that the eggs are going for at the current time. Did I say that I LOVE BBS Orps?

I Love BBS Orps!

What a lovely offer Miss prissy! I think this is going to be an interesting thread to say the least.

Hmmmm..why would I deserve these eggs. I really don't have a simple answer....

I guess that I simply love my chickens. All the interesting people I have met here & the memories I have made since they were introduced into my life has been such an unexpected surprise. I wake up in the morning like many do I am sure...thinking "how I can do things better"......and wondering where the day will lead me.
I am trying to make others locally see the wonder in stepping back a bit in time.....getting satisfaction out of doing something so simple and pleasurable. Living in NYC it isn't the easiest place to convince folks. I have brought no less than 10 people into this "hobby" if you will....and it is exciting to watch them come to the understanding that it is very satisfying. Planting that seed has been wonderful.
So should I be deserving enough for your eggs....I will make sure they continue to "spread the news" that chicken keeping is more than just fun!
Yesterday I had my broodie silkie hatch me out my very first chicks other than using an incubator. I can't believe how sweet it has been to watch her being a first time mom and doing such a wonderful job. I've been outside for 2 days ignoring all else just to make sure all is well in their little world. As we are their keepers, I take the responsibility seriously.

Miss Prissy, Don't know if you could say I "deserve them", but I would love to have some mates for the 6 little peepers I hatched from the dozen I got from you last month! Plus, I'm all moved into my new home and my incubator is empty. How will I fill the 5 level brooder I lucked into if I have no eggs???

I would love to have them, but good luck to whom ever wins them!

I would like to wish everyone the best of luck on winning these eggs. MP, you are such a lovely soul to be doing such a kind thing. Come on folks...pour your hearts out for the chance at these beauties!

This is my first year hatching and have found the experience of raising chickens to be wonderful! When I first found this site I saw pictures of your birds and fell in love! I have been talking about them ever since. I definately would love to hatch some for my very own. Good luck to all the deserving people on this site.
