FREE - 2 OEG Silverblue Hens [local pick up ONLY]

Two Old English Game hens free to good home, local to Sarasota/Bradenton Florida. Must pick up. These two have been together since they were a week old, so I would prefer to keep them together.

Pictured, top is "Katie" who has very long legs and a long neck. She is very elegant, for a chicken. She looks a bit like a road runner. Bottom is "Soup". The yellow hen pictured center is not for sale. Sorry.

These hens are approx. 12 weeks old and are *very* people friendly. I think they think they *are* people sometimes. They grew up isolated from other birds and do not play well with other hens, hence the reason I am offering them free to a good home. I don't have the time to care for individual birds with an entire brood to maintain. They would also do well as brooding hens.

Hi, Those are actually Modern Game Bantams(MGB), which would be the reasoning for the long legs and necks. Did you get these from Ideal?

Also - and I'm sorry I have to say this - in general, please don't send me PMs about how much you might like to adopt my birds, but can't with a list of reasons why (and that's it...no other suggestions at all). While I appreciate the story, I really need to find these girls a home before they go nuts from boredom. I can't keep them in with my gen-pop and I don't have the free time necessary to give them the one-on-one they deserve (although I do my best in the interim). The excess of messages in reply to this ad that don't help my situation only adds frustration. Otherwise, all other PMs that are helpful in finding these birds a home are always welcome...or general chickie chit-chat.
