I am giving away 6-10+++ fertile hatching eggs. Since mothers day is tomorrow, I am wanting to see all of your mother hens with their chicks or soon to be mother hens/ broody hens .
Since this Is last minuet I will be holding this beauty contest
until moday May 13,2009 the day after mothers day.
The winner will have their eggs shipped to them on tuesday - wednesday. May -12-13. I am asking that you Please pay the shipping cost of $12. I am short on cash and as much as I would love to send them absoulutly free I cannot. The feed bills are getting higher with all the chickens, and chicks that I have, the bills are only getting higher with all the chicks I'm hatching.
They will be shipped by priority mail and you will again be asked to please pay a total of $12.
I can try to send any extra eggs if available of your chioce.
I and a cupple of other friends, will pick the best looking hen and their chicks,or broody hen on her eggs. The winner will get an assortment of the breeds listed below.
They will be out of my show winning Standard Size Welsummer ( my line, R.C line, Whitmore ,and Kathy Gleason Lines).
Gold Laced Polish Bantams ( Larry Glenn & Dave Anderson Lines).
Marans are not recognized by the APA but they are still awesome chickens. I Took them to show we brought back Best of breed and best of our varieties.
Since Marans are not a recognized breed we could not win Grand champions,
but at least we won and had the opportunity to show, and are are now one step closer to the standard and hopfully becoming recognized.
