You guys are so funny and sweet. I hope my niece Cassie joins up. She's got the chickens and as a newlywed, they are her only babies. I bet she'll be introducing herself here soon. She lives in Felton, Calif..
6chickens: I'm tempted to get a silky but things have to calm down around here first. My last baby is graduating from high school next month!!!!!! Thanks for the pictures I really like the way they look. (Dear Lord, please don't let me start obsessing about roosters. I mean it!)
attackchicken and turney31: Thanks for the welcome and hello to you from the California coast!
annaraven: living in the guest house is keeping me sane. I spent some time in the mainhouse this morning and ended up screaming in the yard, so, I'll stay out here for as long as it seems proper. My hubby likes to hide out here with me as long as I behave!

Hi wolftracks, glad to hear from you again. Those cuties are our daughters Louise and Madeline (now 20 and 18) it's my favorite picture because my hubby took about 15 of them that day and they were poking at each other and making faces in all the pictures and then for 2 seconds they stopped to gaze at their Dad and he got that shot.

I bet they're beautiful, because they were pretty babies!

Honey, if I had the option of a guest house that's where you'd find me! Peace, quiet, no squeeling (what is it with teenage girls these days???), no telling them 100 times a day to turn down what they call music (oohhh just sounded like MY parents then! LOL) no having to remind them a thousand times to clean up their messes... a guest house would be paradise!
Roostervic I came acros thi thread this morning and I just can't believe you don't have any chicks yet. I'm subscribing so I'll be here when you DO get a few
Absolutely nothing like a fresh egg. And if your youngest is graduating from high school you will soon have an empty nest, no?
