free raging in the hood

Oh God! He's back again. climbs up on a barrel so he can be ear level and screams away. Time to get the hoses out again.
on another topic:
I was attending a family function and my niece whips out a few cartons of eggs. From her back yard chickens! I didn't know that she and her new husband are keeping chickens. She gave us 1/2 dozen beautiful brown eggs! I'm going to give her this website link right now.

welcome back!

Maybe a nice guy like Lieutennant Cmmdr. Worf could move in with you. We call him Mr. Woof. He's my bird friend. He adores me. He'd get rid of any annoyance QUICK to make me happy:

Here, he's decided I've had quite enough of that glass of wine! btw, we never intended to keep chickens. Our kids are younger; the chicks came home one day with the kids and here we are. The eggs are quite a nice bonus, but the pet chickens are very nice in and of themselves, especially for my gardening. I'm not trying to convince you to keep chickens, but it does seem you have a calling....

And there's nothing quite like shampooing and blow drying your Silkie...

Oh my God!!!! I need Mr. Woof! I'm dying to make his picture poster size and put it in my window. Better yet make a bunch of posters and cover that fence with them. That fierce looking rooster might scare the heck out of my screaming little neighbor. Wow! this is the first time today that I've really smiled. Thank you.

Babymakesix:
No, No! no chickens until I get those kittens out of my house! I have my limits, I think...
And yep, I'm going to make my little chicken raising neice a byc addict. Thanks for the link.

Mr. Woof is a Silkie rooster, 3 years old. They come in lots of colors. They make devoted and delightful pets. I bet you could find one near you. This is his sister, a Silkie named Chloe:

...and this is his first son last year, a Rosecomb/Silkie mix "Mr. Meatyboy" (these mixes are FAMOUS as good, devoted, trainable pet chickens):

So, how's it going over there with your rooster noise?
