Send her $2.00 instead if $200. OOps, darn decimal points. Have the police there. Last time I checked, $2 was still money, though you might not get the cops to roll out there for $2.00 unless they know why you are doing this.
Funny that they don't care. Have you talked to an actual fraud detective? Usually they're big on catching these clowns.
Still, most of these scammers are over-seas. You may just end up snaring some middle-man/woman who responded to a "make money working from home" ad.
It looks like ome of the homes in that area are still being devloped. I wonder if that address is occupied. If it is not, newly constructed homes are often used to receive merchandise purchased with stolen credit cards, receive illegal drugs, or serve as a blind drop for these sort of schemes. I would think the cops would want to find out if someone's using that address as a drop.
Quote: Is Marleen no longer available? You posted her as a Free Yorkie on Freecycle. Are you backing out of the deal? My friend said it would be much better if she picked Marleen up in person, that way she can see the conditions the pup is used to so we can make sure that we recreate the same atmosphere for her here. We don't want her stressed out in a new environment!
My friend should be pulling up any minute now. Can you see her car yet?
