Freezing rain and bitter cold all next week

I live in Rhode Island and my Chickens are in and out of the run all day, i scatter some cracked corn an hour before they go in to roost as it helps them to keep warm overnight as they digest it supposedly, snow keeps them from staying out but they have a covered area that they go in and i clear a path for them to move around, a whole week of below freezing weather is going to be hard on them no matter what we do.

the run is open coop is covered and has good ventilation.

I say good because I'm about 2 square feet over the recommended amount for my flock. great would be if i had 10 less birds!

EDIT: don’t worry everyone, not a coop fire, just our backyard garden with ice over it and the underside of the deck!
