French BC Marans

These FBC Marans chicks are same age, about 4 months. The one with larger comb has crowed. I was really hoping the one with smaller comb/wattle was hen but it is getting more copper on body. Any chance this is a colorful pullet? Not wanting to breed, just wanted a few dark brown eggs - -not more roosters.
