Nope, with a pea comb she's not a marans. She's likely an easter egger, or perhaps an olive egger that has marans in her ancestry.

Not a French Black Copper Marans
The "French" in FBCM means french style, which is foot feathered. American style is without foot feathering.

Therefore, to be FBCM, she would need feathers down the outside of her legs and down the outside toe. She doesn't have that.

Also she would have a single comb.

Her eye color is also wrong, should be a copper color.

And she has too much red color...it is mixed into her chest...not particularly like a BCM....more like a BSL (Black Sex Link).

So definitely not FBCM. *Might* be an olive egger mix, but I'm not picking up much Marans vibe in her, so she could be a mix of almost anything thing as her body type isn't particularly resembling a Marans to state that's what is behind her (although she may have simply taken after the other parent). Marans stand tall (Langshan heritage in them) even in the pullets.

Pretty girl. Hopefully she'll lay green or olive eggs for you.

Marans have feathered legs and single combs. You have an Easter Egger.

Easter Egger maybe Olive Egger. But Easter Egger is most likely. For sure not a Marans.
