Well that's true, but I'd rather shoot with a camera. I haven't been back East for many years now and DH has never been. Hope to get back to the Appalachians some day.

I have lots more photos than I do trophies! I enjoy the photography more, but I really wanted something to put in my freezer.

I don't have a problem with people hunting, but I grew up in the SoCal suburbs and food came from the store. Killing things that aren't a threat is foreign to me, which is why I still fall apart when I have to cull a chicken.

Same here. I've hunted much nicer deer with the camera than with the rifle or bow. When I hunt, it's not for trophy, it's for table. I'd have cut my big redfish loose had I known it was probably a state record fish. I knew it was big, but when a tournament pro friend of my dad's saw the pic he asked why I didn't submit it. Apparently they have a tournament that runs through the season and anyone can enter.
