we have a couple more pipped eggs, that are rocking and rolling.......

so far, the three chicks that have zipped are all red......from tan or cream colored eggs.

If it only took you a few days to collect up 55 to set, you need a bigger incubator.  Those will do fine for custom hatches.  One GQF cabinet and you could hatch 96 more a week.

Last year was the test to see if I could sell chicks. This year is the test to see how many. Now I know what breeds are selling, so I am ramping up production. If I can't keep up with the demand this year, I do see a cabinet in the future. Right now 20 chicks every couple of weeks is about perfect for me

ETA: Walnut, those were collected between Jan.16 and yesterday. I set the first batch Sunday night, then another yesterday. There are no eggs over 7 days old in either incubator. I plan to set every two weeks, but I wanted the second one to hatch the same week this time. I have a lot of orders, and I'd like to be able to fill them all on the same weekend
