French frogs

Walnut, you do know you would have better luck getting through to a brick wall, right??

I do. But I have a hard head and a sharp tongue. Having a little "fun with vocabulary" right now before I turn in.

Working on a project for you too...taking a little longer than I hoped.

Some of those little lav Am pullets are the cutest things! They have wonderful form and carriage, and act like little princesses at a ball. But as for the most fascinating color, that goes to one of Frmboy's Cornish crosses. I don't know what the cross is...but it is a copper and blue barred chicken. That one is staying, and I think it's a pullet though those are a little slower to mature.

The juvie turkeys have been getting bossed around by Big Momma, Scooter and Bronze. One of them had enough today, and flew up and perched on my arm while I was toting water jugs. He's about 20" high now, and probably 6 pounds, so it wasn't for me quite like it was when he was two or three weeks old.

It was good to see that he didn't forget that I was his friend.

I am so glad you like those Am's... wish the pure Lav pen had been ready and pure when you were ready for those eggs though... but super excited for next Spring... my Am's will be much better and more plentiful!!

That pullet sounds pretty... want to see how it finishes out too...

My turkeys still are all over me... and no, not like it was when they were little, lol... one tried to grab my bracelet again today like it used to and missed... gave me a nice blood blister on the back of my hand...

Project?? You've been more than generous already!!! :)

That sounds like an awesome color.

Methinks you are correct...

Totally unrelated... I've got an aesthetic question for you folks. One of my summer fudge flavors is going to be rootbeer float (don't worry--the spring fruit flavors are going to carry through the summer). I already know that the flavor's going to be uniform throughout--since the base will be white chocolate, I don't think the rootbeer flavor will be intense enough to do layers. What I haven't decided os if the fudge will be a uniform light brown, as if the ice cream has all melted/been eaten, or if it should be white with brown swirls. What do you think?

White with brown swirls, or brown with white swirls, sounds more appealing.

Send me one of each and I'll provide very important feed back.

I think swirls will differentiate it and dress it up a little bit.
