French frogs

Nicaragua is no more than 8 hours from Detroit with a layover in Atlanta...where are you that it would be so far?

Nebraska. I do not know exactly how long it takes to actually fly, never actually have done it. So I probably exaggerated. I know he starts in a smaller airport, not Omaha. Goes eventually to flordia, and then south to an airport in Grenada (I think) and then still has a trip to his house (He lives on a giant lake). But he is cheap, so lots of layovers, and nothing I want to do with a 1 and 3 year old.

@Sally Sunshine
I don't know how you had the patience to do what you did with your young friend this morning; I couldn't have done it. Between you & BYC, I was cracking up; 'bout fell off my chair

Fortunately, I was in the deer blind on my other laptop, where I can read the threads but not reply. The two of you must have the patience of Job.

Have any luck hunting? You get any snow over there?

No snow yet, and no deer seen all week. Today's the first in four that it hasn't been nasty raining, most likely enough to keep them bedded. I thought sure they'd be up and about this morning, enjoying the first warming sun of the week; guess they never got the memo.

Sorry to hear that. Apparently the snow is between us then. Hubby is over on your side of my state and said the ground is covered.

She started gathering on Monday when she got back from Thanksgiving. I think they should be fresh.

That's exciting! What breed?
There are some Marans, F1 and F2 olive eggers, and then some easter eggers. I'll keep a few and try to sell the rest.

Newfie may have some; I don't know. She's higher and a lot closer to the mountain than I am. A lot of the weather out of the north hits that mountain and dumps its load just to the east of it, and we don't get any of it.
