Still 3 lav pips holding and none of the ducks have started zipping yet, but I've had a couple drinks, so I'll get some sleep. :)

I've got too many pens already too. You have d'uccle too, dont you?

I feel your pain. We added CLB's out of Greenfire and a Jill Rees line in 2015. Too many pens but catch myself wanting to add more.

That was the next breed I wanted, but got some golden sebrights a few months ago, so I'm not sure if I'll ever get my d'uccles. :(

    Yeah, suuure... :gig
You just want SC to skin me, lol...

I don't like the Rees line, mine are the older lines... will probably drop a couple more breeds in the next year so I can work more on the ones I love the most...

It's a win/lose imo with the Rees line. You get those creamy feathers but also lose some bluing. We'll see how these mix.

Yeah, I just don't see much I care for in those at all... :/

Love the pics, WV. They are absolutely adorable!! :hugs
Exactly! That was me on my last hatch...and that was chicken eggs. I'll probably be worse with duckies.
You can do it! My body has been free from alcohol and anything else for 2 years. You feel really crappy in the beginning but after you get over that hump, you'll feel better then you ever remembered.
    Awwww! :love
I want to try ducks too In spring! You should do it!! I've hatched peafowl and quail, now I really need to get ducks under my belt! I'm on a list for eggs for spring and I haven't canceled even though my voice of reason says I should.
