French frogs

:idunno  Just trying to help. :gig

Yeah, suuure... :gig
You just want SC to skin me, lol...

I feel your pain. We added CLB's out of Greenfire and a Jill Rees line in 2015. Too many pens but catch myself wanting to add more.

I don't like the Rees line, mine are the older lines... will probably drop a couple more breeds in the next year so I can work more on the ones I love the most...

It's a win/lose imo with the Rees line. You get those creamy feathers but also lose some bluing. We'll see how these mix.

So.... I couldn't stand it, I ran home at lunch time. One silkie out, and one lavender out!! :weee The silkie is already fluffed up and dry, so I'd say she has been out for a couple of hours at least. The lavender's cap was off, but still in the bottom of the shell, so I got to watch her pop on out. I think the silkie is BLUE!!! And at least 3 new pips... one more duck, one more lavender, and a new pip in a comet egg. Silkie Lavender
:jumpy yay!!! I :love hatch day!! Enjoy it!!
starting to reach the end? congrats!! stick around kw, this is the frog thread, where no thin skin is allowed........

3 days of little to no sleep, and wrecked nerves... ah, gotta :love em! :gig
Exactly! That was me on my last hatch...and that was chicken eggs. I'll probably be worse with duckies.
Thanks and it's all good just something I decided to do.....funny my boys grew up with out even a beer ever in the fridge.....and I really like my vodka. But....I'm going to try this for a while.
You can do it! My body has been free from alcohol and anything else for 2 years. You feel really crappy in the beginning but after you get over that hump, you'll feel better then you ever remembered.
But you get to do this!!

Awwww! :love
I really want to hatch some ducks....my wife is against it...but she's easy.....I like to try new things...(Oh wait don't go there).....anyway always trying to learn new skills.
I want to try ducks too In spring! You should do it!! I've hatched peafowl and quail, now I really need to get ducks under my belt! I'm on a list for eggs for spring and I haven't canceled even though my voice of reason says I should.
