.243, 30/30, or .50 bp for me. Have an Excalibur x-bow, but quit using it on my own place; too much chance of them getting to the neighboring property where I'm not allowed.

Sorry WV; that was aimed @ Walnut...must be getting tired

Ok, I cant wIt any longer. These silly Ams aren't laying yet, my EEs are laying like crazy, and I haven't hatched in 2 months. I'm setting some EEs today :old
You caved!! :gig
Bantam yeppers now what do I do with them ? :lau I was going to eat them but they are too pretty to eat :duc awesome texting mother to tell her that tip as well :thumbsup
Knew it! lol... they have such a distinctive look, at least to me... just couldn't judge size from those pics... ;) Breed them, then eat the extra cockerels... :D
Sa-weeet! Yea that's like mine. We haven't actually hooked it up yet. Plugged it in to try it out but haven't wired the electric to it yet. No grown-ups here. :D I just came in from bow hunting. Shot at an 8-point and missed. Judged the yardage wrong. :hit
Dang!! That woulda been sweet!! Sorry... :/
NO LAUGHING........... From outside the run: From inside the run: I had almost all of the stuff left over from when I built my coop in CA. Put magnets at the top and bottom so I can close it while I'm working. (Already had the magnets.) I'm going to scrounge some of the antique shops around here to find an old wrought iron handle for the front, then I need concrete stones for the walkway into the coop - both to prevent mud and keep anything from digging in..
Ain't no laughing going on here... that's a d@mn fine gate!! :thumbsup

I really envy your ability to purchase different weapons without any problems. This is most complicated thing in Israel, and it's almost impossible to get even a gun license. The absurdity is that in the army I have fired on M-16. M-2 0.5 machine gun, 0.3 Braonning machine gun, mortar 120mm and 155 mm cannon!
But I can not get a license for a pistol even though I have no criminal record, and I am a teacher that is supposed to protect hundreds of students. Somone could explain this absurdity?

Our Constitution guarantees us the right to keep and bear arms, unless we're a felon, and so far, though many have tried and continue to try, no one has successfully managed to overturn that particular amendment. Certain cities, like NYC & DC, prohibit the ownership of guns (at least, I think that's still the case), which I've never quite understood. Since when does local law overrule federal law?

Fortunately, we have an organization, the National Rifle Association, of which I'm a proud Life Member (and have been for about 50 years), whose main purpose is to represent the gun owners' interests. Despite much negative press in the highly biased liberal-run media in recent years, the NRA is still strong, and the 2nd amendment is still in effect. I can foresee a day when that will no longer be the case; I'm glad I won't be here to see it.

Well said. The ability to carry handguns either concealed or open carry is different state by state as well. I live in a state that it is easy to get a concealed carry license. Not all states are so easy.
